Tell us more about your skiing. Best memories to date:
My first time on skis was at the age of two. My parents strapped skis to my feet and just pushed me down the hill. By the age of 16 I was racing. As time went by, crashing gates gradually became less important. It even became tiring and boring to me. A few years later I found myself skiing in the backcountry - that is what my heart beats for! I do not see myself pursueing a big career. I´m mostly focused on being on skis as much as possible. I´m chasing the feeling of pure happiness. The stoke. The smile that you just can´t stop. All that matters in this moment is you, the mountain and the friends who are just as passionate and excited as you are. Best memory to date is for sure the trip to Alaska.I got to go there in 2018 and it was hands down the best week I’ve ever had.The Mountains there are simply breathtaking, the lines we skied were big and steep.I was with the best crew I could have wished for, Campfires, Northern Lights…just wow.
Favourite Ski Destination. Why?
I mostly ski in Tyrol/ Austria and I guess I can call it my favourite place too. There are endless options, so much terrain and keen people around. It is really tough to find a place that can keep up with what we have in the Alps.
Your Ultimate Cap Set Up?
I love the 5 panel volley cap! I usually wear it with a fabric visor but I do like the walnut visor a lot as well. I just thought about it now… I’m going to Scandinavia next week and could have gotten some shots of the new caps…dang. Now its probably too late…
